My journey began in 1996 when a friend talked me into going to a one-day bear-making workshop. It only took that one day to draw me into the world of teddy bears.

My work with needles is not only confined to the creation of teddy bears. I also have a career as an Acupuncturist and together with my husband Bruno (great name for a bear) run a busy practice in Coffs Harbour, on the north coast of New South Wales. I enjoy the challenge of being able to balance my life with careers.

I love to give each bear its individual personality and my challenge is always to make sure that when you meet my bears, you leave with a smile on your face and a sparkle in your eyes and your heart feels lighter. Then I know that the bears I have created have done their job well.

I have had the honour of attending many overseas and local shows and my bears now reside in many different parts of the world in both private collections and also museums.
